Android Developer (Native)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin.
• Build scalable, responsive, and high-performance mobile applications.
• Develop intuitive user interfaces using Jetpack Compose and/or XML layouts.
• Integrate REST APIs, third-party SDKs, payment gateways, and backend services.
• Implement application architecture using MVVM, Clean Architecture, or similar patterns.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize applications for performance, stability, and security.
• Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Perform unit testing and UI testing and participate in code reviews.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA, and product teams.
• Manage application builds, releases, and deployments through the Google Play Console.
• Stay updated with the latest Android versions, libraries, frameworks, and development best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in native Android application development.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and good knowledge of Java.
• Strong understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, Jetpack, and Android application lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose, XML, Material Design, and responsive UI development.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, Retrofit/OkHttp, and asynchronous programming.

Get Hired
• Strong understanding of MVVM, Clean Architecture, dependency injection, and design patterns.
• Experience with Coroutines, Flow, LiveData, or similar reactive programming concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Room/SQLite, Firebase, Push Notifications, and authentication.
• Proficiency with Git/GitHub/GitLab and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience with debugging and performance optimization using Android Studio profiling tools.
• Experience with Google Play Store submission and release management.
