U.S. India Tax — TTO:
Deloitte Tax LLP’s Tax Transformation (TTO) team is responsible for the design, development, and deployment of tax tools for the US Tax Practice. The professionals on the TTO team are focused on assisting Deloitte Tax in its efforts to deliver quality, comprehensive, value-added, and efficient client services using tax tools to our clients. The team consults and executes on a wide range of initiatives involving tax technology management, tool development and implementation.

- Work Experience: 3 - 6 Years
As a QA, you will be working closely with Tax SMEs, Business Analysts, and application developers to aggregate, prioritize, and report out on impact of the top-quality issues affecting the projects. Additionally, and you will:
- Analyzing r equirements, preparing test data and e xecuting & a nalyzing business processes with respect to quality using various Test and Defect Management tools and related suite of products.
- Collaborates with Tax SMEs, Business Analysts, and application developers to ensure a shared understanding of the business model and the detailed function requirements.
- Creates and maintain the Test Plans, Requirements Traceability Matrices, Test Cases, and Test Metrics.
- Designs test plans in a manner that supports both manual and automation testing for web-based tax applications.
- Executes end-to-end functional and automated tests cases and creates clearly documented defects that enable a developer to recreate the issue.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
- Ensure the quality and low bug rates of code released into production.
- Follow QA processes and procedures throughout the testing life cycle.
- Responsible for conducting analysis of defects with development team, BA and other stakeholders, replicating issues for analysis and resolution.
- Participates in scrum daily status and project status calls to provide accurate updates on deliverable timelines and status.
- Support system testing by following up on and closing defect tickets in a timely manner .
- Collaborate and mentor junior QA team members in U.S. and U.S.-India.
- Analyze feature requirements and assist in identifying requirement enhancements to improve product efficiency.
- Assist to Conduct feature demonstrations for stakeholders once testing is concluded.
- Perform Production and test environments smoke testing for patch, Production release and deployments
- Defining performance testing scenarios/ process es as applicable.
- Establish and evolve seamless regression test process to include existing features and new features.
- Create regression test suite and maintain it throughout the release cycle.
- Ability to create and execute test scripts using automation tools.
- Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in business information systems , computer science, business/technology, or similar degree
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in QA Testing with at least 3 years in test automation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Skill for writing automated tests using industry standard automated testing tools
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills.
- 3 + years strong QA experience with industry leading testing tools, processe s and methodologies.
- Expert level knowledge of QA process and testing methodology
- Establish and evolve formal QA processes
- Ability to analyze testing requirements based on the business requirements
- Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated).
- Assure timely completion of testing for projects as well as comprehensive bug tracking and reporting
- Experience with SDLC methodologies
- Experience with writing SQL Scripts for testing
- Experience of Agile methodologies and SCRUM processes.
- Experience with automated testing tools – preferably Selenium.
- Experience in creation/maintenance of testing artifacts using test management tools preferably Azure DevOps.

- ISTQB certified software tester certification obtained or in process or must be able/willing to obtain.
- Working knowledge of automated testing tools like Selenium, MS Test, TOSCA , PROTRACTOR
- Performance/load testing experience
- Experience working in Financial Services environment
- Knowledge of an object-oriented programming is a plus – preferably C#
- Write SQL queries and utilize SQL Server Management Studio for various testing scenarios
