Position Overview
Job Title: Head of Intra Group Contract Management (IGCM)
Corporate Title: Vice President
Location: Pune, India
Role Description
  • Within Global Procurement and Vendor Management (GPVM) the Intra-Group Management function is responsible for ensuring Deutsche Bank (DB) meets the increasingly high standards of third party risk management as determined by the Regulators and the risk appetite of the Bank, outlined in the Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) Framework.
  • A part of this function is the Intra-Group Contract Management (IGCM) Team. The IGCM team is a global support team with the primary objective of supporting the contractual framework requirements of DB entities and its branches by drafting intra group agreements, uploading in central repository and maintaining the database - role responsible for managing the contract drafting process and gives clear direction to the business on what contractual requirements are needed which meets standards set by DB Legal and the Regulators of the specific country.

Your Key Responsibilities
Lead a team of Contract writers and MI for internal DB entity to entity relationships to -
  • Manage Contractual Framework end to end by drafting, executing and uploading intra group agreements and related documents to support the IGCM Book of Work globally in accordance with Vendor Risk Management/Intra Group Outsourcing (VRM/IGO) requirements across the bank
  • Maintain/ monitor up to date and accurate individual Management Information (MI) to ensure Global MI reporting requests are met and to update stakeholders on the project status through various forums;
  • Provide Solutions and customized Contract drafting and execution plan for non-standard projects, ensuring that while the project and business requirements are met, all minimum control standards are adhered to strictly to comply with regulatory requirements;
  • Active partnering with Risk Type Control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Regulatory, and Tax work streams to enable accurate contract execution and to mitigate risks;
  • Support the IGCM Team Lead to implement various strategic initiatives and transformation ideas as well as suggest ideas for process improvement and help implement best practices across all locations.
  • Facilitate communication and cooperation between all stakeholders involved in contracts
  • Stay up to date with changes in relevant laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance
  • Provide training and support to internal teams on contract management best practices
  • Prepare and present reports on contract performance and status to senior management

Knowledge, skills and experience:
  • 20+ years of industry experience in Contract Management/ Operations Management or similar areas. Candidates with exposure to Procurement, Legal, Risk, and/or Finance background(s) would be ideal for this profile;
  • Excellent in Communication and presentation Skills over email and phone, including written and spoken English skills and listening skills. Excellent attention to detail;
  • Ability to interpret and translate business process inputs and frame the service description in a concise and easy to understand text for contract inclusion, take ownership, identify and manage risk related to legal documentation. Ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders (e.g. COO-Delegates, SROs, Business Approvers etc);
  • Candidate should be a highly motivated individuals and who has the ability to work independently as well as manage highly skilled teams
  • Expert knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and previous working exposure with senior managers would be a good advantage.
