Role Description The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring accurate recording of project-related costs and revenues. The role also involves monitoring compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls, as well as supporting audits and preparing reports for management. The Accountant will collaborate with project and operations teams to provide financial insights, support decision-making, and optimize cost efficiency. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in financial accounting and reporting, including general ledger management, trial balance preparation, and financial statement analysis.
• Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and cash/bank reconciliation, with attention to accuracy and timeliness.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and variance analysis, preferably in construction or real estate projects.
• Knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, and other relevant tax and regulatory requirements, along with familiarity with audit processes.
• Ability to use accounting and ERP software (e.g., Tally, SAP, or similar), and strong skills in Microsoft Excel and other productivity tools.
• Excellent numerical aptitude, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data integrity and detail orientation.
• Effective communication and collaboration capabilities, able to work closely with cross-functional teams and present financial information clearly.
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (CA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain high ethical and professional standards.
