Role Description:

This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role based in Hyderabad. The Business Development Manager will identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners, and expand Dolphys presence in target markets. Daily responsibilities include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting client meetings and presentations, preparing proposals and quotations, and negotiating commercial terms in line with company guidelines. The role involves close collaboration with marketing, sales, and project coordination teams to align business development strategies, track market trends, and provide feedback on customer needs. The Business Development Manager will also be responsible for achieving revenue targets, maintaining accurate sales pipelines and reports, and representing Dolphy at industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums.

Qualifications:

• Strong skills in business development, sales strategy, and client relationship management, with a focus on B2B environments.
• Proficiency in lead generation, market research, and opportunity analysis to identify and prioritize high-potential segments.
• Experience in preparing and delivering presentations, proposals, and commercial negotiations with decision-makers.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including professional email, documentation, and presentation abilities.
• Comfort with CRM tools, sales reporting, and basic data analysis for pipeline management and forecasting.
• Proven track record in business development or sales, preferably in building products, automation, hospitality, or related sectors.
• Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities, with a results-oriented mindset.
