Role: Process Manager – Asset Servicing | Full-time (FT) | Financial Markets| 

Shift Timings: APAC (6:30 AM to 3:30 PM IST) / EMEA (2 PM to 11 PM IST)

The candidate must possess in-depth functional knowledge of the process area and apply it to operational scenarios to provide effective solutions. He/she must be able to identify discrepancies and propose optimal solutions by using a logical, systematic, and sequential methodology. It is vital to be open-minded towards inputs and views from team members and to effectively lead, control, and motivate groups towards company objects. Additionally, he/she must be self-directed, proactive, and seize every opportunity to meet internal and external customer needs and achieve customer satisfaction by effectively auditing processes, implementing best practices and process improvements, and utilizing the frameworks and tools available. Goals and thoughts must be clearly and concisely articulated and conveyed, verbally and in writing, to clients, colleagues, subordinates, and supervisors

Job Responsibilities

• Minimum Academic Qualifications:  Graduation (B. Com /BBM) / Post Graduation (M.Com/MBA/PGDM)Managerial role in independently managing back office operations

• Client Management – establish self as a valued partner and work closely to achieve goals defined

• Independently handle all client escalations and lead mitigation steps to prevent future escalations

• Grooming SA’s and APM’s to manage process and risk effectively

• Set goals and targets for team and give effective feedbacks on performance

• Design innovative engagement models for effective touchpoints with clients

• Track/design KPIs & KRIs & the thresholds for settlements process, design utilization model through time and motion studies

• Manage training, onboarding, resource allocation, delivery management, performance appraisals, mentoring etc.

• Help knowledge management endeavor by sharing process knowledge and best practices within the teams

• Build domain expertise and lead from the front 

• Lead various quality initiatives 

• Responsible for Business continuity, transformation and various audits

• Good understanding of Asset Servicing Life Cycle.

• Experience in announcement scrubbing, dividend processing, Claims processing, managing meeting events, reconciliation of breaks related to Corporate Actions.

• Should be well versed with all event types. Mandatory, Mandatory with Choice and Voluntary events.

• Should be aware of all critical dates in an event such as Ex-date, record date, pay date, deadline date.

• Should be aware of risk in corporate action process i.e. regulatory, financial and reputational risks – impact of delayed/incorrect processing.

• Knowledge of SWIFT messages used in Asset Services

• Should be aware of regulatory requirements such as Client Money disclosure, Shareholders Rights directive (SRD)

• Strong capabilities in PowerPoint, MS Word and MS Excel.

• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities 

• Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal) 

• Ability to work with teams across time-zones and cultures 

• Team Lead experience of handling around      20-30 people

• Organized, detail oriented, flexible, self-starter & highly motivated

• Should be able to act fast and decisively when dealing with critical situations

• Good with numbers and ability to derive information from data

• Excellent multi-tasking and creative problem solving

• Reporting/Client Management: 

Skills / Experience Required We follow a practice of managing reports & matrices within deadlines and with 100% accuracy. Understanding the requirements, data to be used & distribution list on the reports. Reporting the BAU & KRIs to senior management & client. We give utmost priority to our clients and their requirements, adhere to the requirements and follow a strict procedure of reporting

• Other Requirements: 

• Conceptualize, design and deliver high-quality solutions and insightful analysis on a variety of projects ranging in both complexity and scope

• Knowledge of/prior experience with offshoring processes in vendor setup and methodologies highly preferred

• Should be good with logical and quantitative abilities

• Excellent interpersonal skills – ability to network and earn confidence of diverse Client personnel plus interaction with and management of eClerx India based operations team
