Life Insurance Policy Analyst

What role you will play in team: You’ll analyze and interpret complex data related to our life insurance policies, providing valuable insights to improve our operations, enhance our product offerings and strengthen our risk management.

What you will do: You will analyze large datasets, identifying trends and patterns to support strategic decision-making within the organization. You will prepare reports and presentations based on your findings.

Key responsibility:

• Analyze large datasets of life insurance policy information using statistical methods.
• Identify trends and patterns in policyholder behavior, claims, and other relevant data.
• Develop and maintain predictive models to assess risk and improve underwriting processes.
• Prepare reports and presentations summarizing your findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as product development and actuarial, to support strategic initiatives.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging analytical techniques.
• Enhance data quality through effective cleaning and validation procedures.
• Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of analytical models and processes.

Required Qualification and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, or a related field.
• Advanced knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis techniques.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools and software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong programming skills (e.g., Python, R).
• Experience in the insurance industry preferred but not essential.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
