Deputy Manager Of Information Technology

About the Role - As we expand, we seek a Deputy Tech Lead to lead a full-stack tech team while ensuring scalable technology solutions for government education projects and internal initiatives. The candidate must be comfortable working independently when required.

Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Development

• Low level system design
• Drive architectural decisions and enforce best coding, testing, and deployment practices.
• Ensure scalability, security, and performance of critical modules.
• Lead system integrations (APIs, SDKs, third-party platforms).

Team Leadership & Mentorship

• Lead and mentor a full-stack development team, ensuring high performance.
• Act as a bridge between developers and senior management.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce Agile methodologies (JIRA), and oversee sprint planning.

Project Execution & Delivery

• Ensure timely module delivery, resolve blockers, and manage risks.
• Oversee version control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
• Maintain technical documentation and knowledge transfer.

Infrastructure & DevOps Support

• Optimize cloud usage, system reliability, and monitoring (AWS, logs, metrics).
• Support deployment automation and database optimization.

Collaboration & Product Alignment

• Work with Product, UI/UX, QA, and Field Ops teams to align tech with business goals.
• Provide technical insights in product roadmaps and stakeholder discussions.

Qualifications - Education: B.Tech (CS/IT/ECE) from Tier-1 institute (M.Tech/MBA preferred).
