Job Description
As Employee Relations Partner you will provide high quality, timely, accurate professional advice, support and coaching to employees and managers. Assess and resolve complex employee relations matters, partnering with leaders to drive a fair and consistent approach to the organisations policies and procedures to minimise risk whilst promoting a positive employee culture across the business and protecting the employment brand.
In This Role, You Will
- Provide solid partnerships to stakeholders on employee relations case management across the Emirates Group.
- Advise, guide and coach on a variety of employee related matters to promote best practice, reduce risk and align business units with the EK brand.
- Manage and resolve complex employee issues across all levels of the organisation and conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations and hearings ensuring they are managed fairly and consistently in line with company requirements and local employment laws. This includes any employee relations issues, capability or disciplinary actions, performance management, policy interpretation and investigations.
- Identify and provide recommendations for corrective action, process and procedural enhancements, policy revision and/or improving employee relations management involving relevant stakeholders where required.
- Identify and monitor employee relations trends and take appropriate proactive measures by analysing data and recommending solutions.
- Develop effective relationships with the business to promote good employee relations across the organisation.
- Drive, develop and deliver training and workshops for managers and employees on case management subject matter.
- Identify business improvement opportunities and play a key role in managing related projects end to end.
- In partnership with HRBP, plan, design and implement key projects and HR change initiatives as required.
To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements:
- Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent)
- Post graduate qualification in a HR specific field would be considered an asset
- Professional accreditation preferred (CIPD or equivalent)
- 5+ years experience related to Human Resources or Employee Relations.
- Experience in a customer or business facing advisory role

- Ability to confidently articulate and interpret policy to managers and employees

During the mid-1980s, Gulf Air began to cut back its services to Dubai. As a result, Emirates was founded on 15 March 1985, with backing from Dubai's royal family and its first two aircraft provided by Pakistan International Airlines. With $10 million in start-up capital, it was required to operate independently of government subsidies. Pakistan International Airlines also provided free training facilities to Emirates' cabin crew at Karachi Airport. The airline was founded by Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, the airline's present chairman. In the years following its founding, the airline rapidly expanded both its fleet and its destinations. In October 2008, Emirates moved all of its operations at Dubai International Airport to Terminal 3.
