HR Representative

This position offers the opportunity to evolve into broader HR operations and people initiatives, participating in global projects and driving cultural impact across the company.

Reporting to the Hardware and People Operations Manager, with a dotted line to the Senior HR Generalist in the U.S., this role is based in Bangalore, India, with an office presence of 2-3 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

Onboarding & Offboarding:

• Drive end-to-end employee lifecycle administration, focusing on creating positive experiences for new hires and departing employees.
• Manage onboarding through the HRMS, ensuring accurate and timely collection of new hire data.
• Conduct engaging new hire orientation sessions to foster a sense of belonging.
• Partner with managers and IT to secure system and application access for new hires on day one.
• Support exit formalities for departing employees to ensure a smooth offboarding process.

HR Administration & Compliance:

• Maintain accurate employee records in HR systems and generate routine reports for data insights.
• Handle benefits administration, compliance documentation, and background verification checks.
• Coordinate with banking partners for employee salary account openings.

Process Improvement & Strategic Projects:

• Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and collaborate on projects to enhance employee experience.
• Assist with IT/administrative tasks and support local events for employee engagement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in an HR or generalist role with exposure to core HR processes.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in Google Workspace.
• Familiarity with HRMS/HR tools and willingness to learn new technologies quickly.
• Proactive problem-solving mindset, creativity, and process discipline in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Basic understanding of Indian labor laws and HR compliance.
• Experience with HR data, reporting, or analytics.
• Exposure to global or multicultural teams.
