Role Description The Asst. Quality Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Ghaziabad. The position is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and monitoring of quality management systems for epoxy cast components and resin cast products. Day-to-day tasks include overseeing inspection processes, coordinating routine and type testing, documenting nonconformities, and assisting in root cause analysis and corrective actions. The role involves collaborating with production, design, and testing teams to ensure compliance with internal standards and customer specifications, and to maintain adherence to relevant industry and regulatory requirements. The Asst. Quality Manager will also help drive continuous improvement initiatives, support customer audits, prepare quality reports, and contribute to training team members on quality procedures and best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of quality management systems, quality assurance procedures, and statistical quality control methods.
• Experience with inspection, testing, and documentation for electrical or power equipment components, preferably epoxy or resin cast products.
• Knowledge of ISO or similar quality standards, internal audit practices, and root cause analysis tools (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams).
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and customer requirements for medium voltage applications.
• Proficiency in using quality-related software tools and standard office applications for reporting and data analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and interact with customers and auditors.
• Bachelors degree or diploma in engineering (electrical, mechanical, or related field) or equivalent technical qualification.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in power equipment or switchgear industries, is an advantage.
