Job Description
- You will be a Junior Electrical Engineer at ETAP, located in Mumbai on a full-time basis. ETAP empowers customers with innovative software solutions for electrical systems, providing continuous intelligence during design, engineering, operations, and maintenance for a sustainable energy future.
As an electrical engineer with power system consulting, your key responsibilities and accountabilities will include:
- Performing various power system studies using software such as ETAP, PSCAD, CDEGS, PLSCAD, ETRAX, etc.
- Designing and reviewing electrical systems including power distribution, industrial control, and renewable energy systems.
- Troubleshooting electrical issues and providing technical support to customers.
- Offering solutions and recommendations for power system design and operation based on study results.
- Resolving technical queries from customers/clients and providing timely information.
- Preparing reports, presentations, and workshops for project requirements.
- Providing training to customers on effective software usage.
To be eligible for this position, you should have:
- A bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering or a related field.
- 0-3 years of working experience in a similar industry.

- Proficiency in electrical engineering principles and knowledge of power system studies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Good communication and report writing skills.
It would be preferable if you also have exposure to software like ETAP/PSCAD/CDEGS, knowledge of Python, MATLAB, and experience in renewable energy systems design. ETAP values diversity and inclusivity, and all successful applicants will undergo a comprehensive background check before employment.
