Process Consultant, AI & Automation - 80 Per Day (Remote, Contract, 6 Months)

ExtraMint AI is hiring a Process Consultant for a US-based client in the pharma/life sciences space. Youll find where AI and automation can improve business processes, then help turn those opportunities into delivered solutions.

What youll do

• Lead process discovery workshops with business stakeholders
• Map and document existing workflows, and identify inefficiencies
• Evaluate and prioritize automation and AI opportunities, with business cases
• Translate business needs into clear technical requirements for delivery teams
• Report progress to business and IT stakeholders

Engagement

• 100% remote, contract, 6+ months
• Full-time (8 hrs/day)
• Rate: $80 USD per da
• Working hours: overlap with US time zones required, typically until 10-11 PM IST (8 hours on paper)

Must-have qualifications (5)

• 1. 3-5 years in business analysis or process consulting
• 2. Pharma or life sciences industry experience
• 3. Hands-on process mapping and workflow analysis (BPMN or similar; Visio, Lucidchart, Miro or Figma), including leading discovery workshops
• 4. Practical understanding of AI, GenAI and RPA, and ability to judge where automation fits
• 5. Strong stakeholder facilitation, and the ability to turn business needs into technical requirements

Preferred qualifications (3)

• 1. UiPath, Microsoft Power Automate or similar intelligent automation platforms
• 2. Process mining or analytics tools (Celonis, Power BI)
• 3. Experience building business cases for technology investments
