Software Engineer Android

As an Android Developer at our company, you will be responsible for designing and building advanced applications for the Android platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Your role will also involve working with outside data sources and APIs, unit-testing code for robustness, bug fixing, and improving application performance. Additionally, you will continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. Monitoring app reviews, conceptualizing and formulating apps suitable for all Android devices, implementing measures to safeguard user data, collaborating with UI/UX Designers and Software Testers, liaising with the marketing department, proofreading code, ensuring app updates, and maintaining congruency with company standards will all be part of your responsibilities.

Qualifications Required:

• Computer Science or equivalent engineering degree
• 2 to 4 years of professional experience as an Android Developer
• Proven software development experience and Android skills development
• Experience with Kotlin & Android SDK
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
