Our purpose is to bring enjoyment to people’s lives through great tasting food, in a way that reflects our values.</p><p> </p><p>Reporting to the Director of Technology Finance, Financial Analyst will perform a variety of financial activities for the Technology Function including financial operations & reporting, project cost accounting, financial planning & analysis, and continuous process improvement.</p><p> </p><p><strong>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><p> </p><ul><li>Financial Operations and Reporting<ul ><li>Process and review accounting transactions for accuracy and completeness of the information and take corrective action to resolve issues.</li><li>Process and review contracts, POs and Invoices for accuracy and completeness of the information and take corrective action to resolve issues.</li><li>Forecast and track prepaid spending and maintain amortization schedules.</li><li>Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financials for both expenses and capital.</li><li>Prepare, analyze, and follow up on Corporate and Regional Technology spend (Budget, Actual, Forecasts, and Variances)</li></ul></li></ul><p> </p><ul><li>Project Cost Accounting & Reporting<ul ><li>Review project costs/transactions for accuracy and completeness of the information and take corrective action to resolve issues.</li><li>Review project contracts, POs and invoices for accuracy and completeness of the information and take corrective action to resolve issues.</li><li>Prepare and report on project costs and technology investments.</li></ul></li></ul><p> </p><ul><li>Financial Planning & Analysis<ul ><li>Lead the budgeting and forecasting cycles in Technology</li><li>Communicate/train technology & business users on how to complete the templates</li><li>Provide year-over-year variance analysis in partnership with Technology</li></ul></li></ul><p> </p><ul><li>Continuous Process Improvements within Technology Finance:<ul ><li>Review processes from end-to-end to identify and address inefficiencies.</li><li>Analyze current processes and compare against industry best practices.</li><li>Recommend process improvements with justification.</li><li>Implement changes (including training & post implementation support)</li><li>Identify Cost Optimization opportunities and drive the realization of those initiatives</li></ul></li></ul><p> </p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>KEY QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCES:</strong></p><p> </p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.</li><li>CA, CMA, CGA, or CPA designation is desirable.</li><li>Background in finance/accounting/operations and other related business disciplines. </li><li>Experience in project cost accounting and decision analysis is required.</li><li>Experience with Technology Finance is required.</li><li>Business minded with solid financial, analytical, and business problem-solving skills. </li><li>Proficiency with the MS Office suite of tools is necessary and exposure to SAP is an asset. </li><li>Strong attention to detail and strong analytical ability required. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a requirement.</li><li>Ability to adapt easily to change and forward-thinking. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to work both independently, function effectively under time constraints and multitask based on the nature of the work.</li></ul><p> </p><p style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 8.0pt;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif"><span ><em><span >McCain Foods is an equal opportunity employer.
