We want to keep it uncomplicated, exciting and fast – well, that’s our brand promise to our customers also. We want to give them loans in under 5 minutes – UNCOMPLICATED AND FAST!
So, let’s get some basics out of our way – we are hiring for our Sales team, at a great compensation (do we even need to say that!).
Now let’s move to what we do?
We are 3 founders, and all of us are ex-bankers on to our 2nd innings.
Prior to this Nitin and Viraj ran a start-up NettPositive Analytics, it may sound boastful but what the heck! It was a cool analytics start-up where they built the most innovative analytics products, hired the best brains (isn’t that why we are here today) and the rest as they say – is history! It was acquired by a US MNC called Equifax.
Amit is a global retail lending expert who has spent over two decades with Standard Chartered Bank across 5 countries and 12 different roles. His areas of expertise include Risk management and Digital Sales and Marketing.
So here we are – building our next venture with even brighter brains this time. Sure everyone agrees to the latter part!
Our vision is to revolutionize the lending industry in India. We want to make easy and fast credit available to all salaried employees at the click of a few buttons. We aim to disburse a loan within 5 minutes of a borrower applying for it. Don’t ask how, that we will need to figure out together!
We have outlined the job profile below for Collections Executive. It may sound serious, but it’s not. In fact, it is extremely serious. That’s how we take our jobs – everybody gives their best shot at work and makes the start-up succeed.
We are looking for highly driven and energetic individuals who are keen to build a career in Collections & Customer Resolution Management.
This is not a typical collections role where the focus is only on recovery numbers. At Finnable, you will own the responsibility of managing the assigned customer portfolio end-to-end — ensuring timely collections while also driving empathetic and solution-oriented customer engagement.
You will be responsible for connecting with customers to understand their repayment challenges, educating them on available solutions, and guiding them towards responsible closure. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and channel touchpoints to resolve cases efficiently and strengthen overall portfolio health.
At Finnable, collections is not just about follow-ups — it’s about building trust, enabling financial discipline, and creating sustainable customer relationships.
What will you do?
- Contacting customers and clients who have outstanding debts to arrange for payment
- Negotiating payment plans with customers and clients to ensure debts are paid off in a timely manner
- Providing customers and clients with information about their outstanding debts and the consequences of non-payment
- Keeping detailed and accurate records of all collection efforts and communications with customers and clients
- Following up with customers and clients on a regular basis to ensure that they are making payments on time and in accordance with their payment plans
- Adhering to all applicable laws and regulations related to debt collection, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
You will be a perfect fit if -
- You are highly enthusiastic and ambitious, with a strong drive to achieve collection commitments and resolve customer cases effectively.
- You go out of your way to get things done — whether it is following up persistently, negotiating repayment solutions, or coordinating with stakeholders to close cases.
- You take complete ownership of your assigned portfolio and are extremely agile in adapting your approach based on customer situations, ageing buckets, and recovery priorities.
- You have 1–3 years of relevant experience in collections, preferably within Personal Loans, with exposure to managing assigned portfolios and driving recovery outcomes.
