Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Finance Manager to manage and oversee the organizations accounting, taxation, audit, and financial reporting functions. The role will involve ensuring financial accuracy, statutory compliance, timely reporting, and effective coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Oversee day-to-day accounting and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
• Review books of accounts, ledgers, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Ensure timely closure of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts.
• Prepare and review MIS reports and financial analysis for management.
• Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash flows, and working capital.

Taxation & Statutory Compliance

• Oversee direct and indirect tax compliance, including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other applicable regulations.
• Ensure timely preparation and filing of tax returns and statutory submissions.
• Coordinate with tax consultants and advisors, wherever required.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and assess their impact on the business.

Audit & Compliance

• Coordinate statutory, internal, and tax audits.
• Prepare audit schedules, supporting documents, and responses to auditor queries.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, financial regulations, and company policies.
• Track and facilitate timely closure of audit observations.

Team Management

• Manage and guide the finance and accounting team in day-to-day activities.
• Review team deliverables and ensure accuracy and timely completion of tasks.
• Allocate responsibilities and support team members in resolving accounting and compliance-related issues.
• Develop and maintain effective finance processes and controls.

Business & Stakeholder Coordination

• Work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams on finance-related matters.
• Provide financial insights and support management in business decision-making.
• Coordinate with banks, auditors, consultants, vendors, and other external stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, controls, and reporting.

Key Skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Good understanding of taxation, GST, TDS, and statutory compliances.
• Experience in handling audits and financial reconciliations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.
• Team management and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Eligibility

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
• 1–2 years of post-qualification experience in finance and accounting.
• Candidates with experience in accounting, taxation, audits, and financial reporting will be preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
