Description:

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Ensure Accounting of all cost and revenue elements on monthly basis, monthly closing of accounts.
• Prepare of profit & Loss Accounts and Balance Sheets for various business units,
• Co-ordinate with statutory auditors on quarterly and yearly basis to facilitate completion of audit in time bound manner
• Support internal auditors in completing their internal audit assignment/s.
• Release of MIS reports before the due dates
• Unqualified audit reports from the statutory auditors on completion of quarterly limited reviews and yearly audits.
• Interface with BU heads
• Ensure Timely compilation of all accounts & MIS reports.
• Ensure timely purchase booking of goods and services and releasing payment thereof : All aspects including creditors' confirmations & reconciliations - once in a quarter.
• Monitor Domestic and export invoicing , all aspects including necessary control mechanism. Aim at reduction in lead time of invoicing from time to time.
• Oversee Cash and Bank operations
• Investment Accounting related to fixed deposits and mutual funds.
• Fixed Assets, Loans and Advances and Liabilities Accounting
• Scrutinize timely all Ledger Accounts Including corrective actions

Technical Skills:

• Thorough knowledge and updation of all applicable accounting standards
• Good knowledge of SAP
• Accounting practices prevailing in industry.
• Up to date knowledge of all relevant Laws related to Direct and Indirect Taxes, Customs.
