Consultant IMS & Manufacturing Excellence

Our client, a global specialist in energy management, automation and digitalization is looking to engage with an energetic and skilled professional to drive IMS and Manufacturing Excellence in system.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and manage the Integrated Management System (IMS) documentation lifecycle, including review, approval, release, and archival of controlled documents aligned with ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO50001 standards.
• Create and standardize documentation such as policies, SOPs, work instructions, forms, job aids, quality specifications, and test methods to ensure process consistency.
• Map existing processes and convert them into structured procedures, templates, and documentation to strengthen operational governance.
• Ensure document quality control by managing revision control, implementing updates, and maintaining proper archival of obsolete documents.
• Plan and conduct internal audits and certification assessments to identify process gaps and ensure compliance with IMS standards.
• Support manufacturing excellence initiatives by preparing Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and developing PFMEAs and Control Plans in line with Schneider guidelines.
• Evaluate gaps between existing PFMEAs/Control Plans and actual process deployment, and drive improvements to enhance process robustness and maturity.

Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of Integrated Management Systems (IMS) and ISO standards (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 50001:2011).
• Expertise in document control and documentation management, including SOPs, policies, work instructions, and quality specifications.
• Experience in process mapping, documentation standardization, and audit preparation.
• Hands-on exposure to PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and Control Plan development.
• Ability to prepare Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and support manufacturing process improvement initiatives.
• Experience conducting internal audits and compliance assessments for quality, EHS, and energy management systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt preferred) and continuous improvement practices.
