Finance Process Excellence Expert – Global Accounting (m/f/d)

You'll own the global accounting process agenda end-to-end: setting standards, driving harmonization across regions and shared service centres, and leading the shift toward intelligent, AI-enabled finance operations.

About the Role

• Define and govern global accounting standards, policies, procedures, and controls across all Flix entities and shared service centres
• Drive process harmonization and standardization across regions, business units, and GBS/SSC environments
• Lead the global process optimization roadmap — from RPA and workflow automation to agentic AI and ERP enhancements — prioritizing initiatives that deliver measurable value
• Set and monitor process KPIs, service levels, and performance targets; lead continuous improvement cycles based on data
• Embed compliance across accounting policies, internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory standards
• Partner with SSC operations, IT, country and regional finance teams, Product Owners, and external providers to optimize end-to-end process performance
• Apply process mining, analytics, and benchmarking to surface inefficiencies, identify root causes, and adopt leading practices
• Lead change management — communications, training, and adoption — for new processes and technologies

About You

• Big 4 background at Senior Manager level or above in Finance Transformation, Accounting Advisory (FAAS), or GBS/Shared Services — this is the core requirement
• Proven track record delivering multi-country finance transformation or process excellence programs; international experience in Europe or North America is a strong plus
• Deep expertise in end-to-end accounting processes (R2R, P2P, O2C) with the ability to translate business requirements into technology-enabled solutions
• Hands-on experience with ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Workday) and finance technology tools; familiarity with process automation (RPA, APIs, workflow tools) and process mining is highly valued
• Experience working in or alongside product and engineering teams in agile environments (sprint reviews, roadmap planning)
• Strong stakeholder management across global, cross-functional, and cross-cultural teams
• Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualifications (CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA) are a plus
