Job Description
- As a QA Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating QA efforts across multiple projects simultaneously. Your key responsibilities include defining, implementing, and managing comprehensive test strategies and plans. You will design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or Cypress. Additionally, you will conduct end-to-end API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or Swagger and perform performance/load testing using tools like JMeter.
- 8+ years of QA experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role
- Proficiency in manual testing, functional, UI, and regression testing
- Strong knowledge of test automation with Selenium, TestNG, or Cypress
- Experience in REST API testing using Postman, Swagger, or RestAssured
- Hands-on experience with performance testing tools like JMeter
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Excellent communication, reporting, and team collaboration skills
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Experience with test case management tools like TestRail or Zephyr
- Exposure to security testing or accessibility compliance
Your role will also involve ensuring the integration of test suites into CI/CD pipelines, managing the defect lifecycle using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps, and collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to resolve issues. You will mentor and coach junior QA engineers, emphasizing adherence to QA best practices and standards. Furthermore, maintaining clear documentation of test plans, cases, results, and QA metrics is essential.
