As a Senior Manager Internal Audit/SOX, you will be responsible for the planning, scoping, designing, implementation and evaluation of Company’s SOX Business Controls. You will interact with business and IT control owners and IT SOX teams to understand the business processes, controls, systems involved, plan the SOX activities, resource plan. You will manage a SOX team internal and outsourced as needed to delivery high quality SOX deliverables. You will liaise with external auditors in their 404b SOX evaluation efforts and steer the program to success.
Role and Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for the scoping and planning of the SOX program for the Company


• Execute on the SOX deliverables by managing the SOX team, ensuring there are proper SOX RCMs, flowcharts, test plans and external auditor reliable testing work papers.


• Identify control design and operating gaps and provide recommendations for remediation.Work with business control owners in remediation activities to ensure timely remediation and testing for SOX 404a and 404b assessment


• Provide inputs for Audit Committee SOX updates.


• Proactively identify opportunities for audit process automation and efficiencies


• Work with the IT SOX teams and IT GRC teams in communicating system scoping, understanding the IT landscape, assess impact of ITGC issues on business processes.


• 
  Identify the root cause of specific problems, collaboratively work with relevant stakeholders in proposing recommendations and appropriate corrective actions to address any areas of concern.


• Assist in coordinating activities between the external auditors and outsourcing partners in support of the annual SOX program.
  

Qualifications

• 12-15 year in external audit, internal audit, internal controls, risk assessments, and SOX implementation


• Past Big 4 experience a plus


• Should be CPA/CA certified


• Experience in applying the COSO framework in a manner that supports SOX


• compliance and operational efficiencies.
