Business Development Associate

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and connect with startup founders, promoters, and CXOs to generate new business opportunities
• Conduct outbound outreach through calls, LinkedIn, email, networking, and referrals
• Understand founders business requirements and identify relevant fundraising or strategic opportunities
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients
• Schedule meetings and coordinate discussions between founders and the internal investment banking team
• Develop long-term relationships with founders and key decision-makers
• Follow up with prospects throughout the sales cycle and drive conversions
• Maintain accurate records of leads, interactions, and opportunities in CRM
• Stay updated on the startup ecosystem, fundraising trends, M&A activity, and market developments

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
• 1–3 years of experience in B2B Sales, Business Development, Financial Services, or Investment Banking
• Strong experience in lead generation, cold calling, prospecting, and client acquisition
• Ability to confidently communicate with founders, promoters, CXOs, and senior stakeholders
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Target-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
