Operations Executive - Logistics, (JNPT), Mumbai

• Handle IGM filing and related documentation in compliance with SCMTR requirements.

• Prepare, verify, and upload shipping and freight documents through ODEX and other carrier-specific software platforms.

• Handle VGM (Verified Gross Mass) filing and Form 13 issuance as per applicable operational requirements.

• Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, transporters, CFS teams, and other stakeholders for smooth cargo movement.

• Monitor and supervise container stuffing activities at JNPT Container Freight Stations (CFSs).

• Maintain accurate records of shipments, filings, and related operational activities.

• Ensure compliance with applicable shipping, customs, port, and company procedures.

• Prepare operational reports and update shipment details using MS Excel, ERP systems, and logistics software.

Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure efficient day-to-day operations at JNPT.

Requirements

1.       Education: Any suitable bachelor’s degree

2.       Experience: 3-5 years of experience

3.       Technical Skills:

     i.      Knowledge in ERP Software, MS Excel        

     ii.      Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills

    iii.      Hands-on experience with ODEX and other shipping line or carrier-specific software

     iv.      Practical knowledge of IGM filing under SCMTR

4.       MS Office suite – Word & Excel

5.       Soft skills: Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
