Job Description

Summary

We are looking for a hands-on Junior Engineer – Assembly to support Electrical control cabinet assembly, wiring, and inspection. You will manage daily production activities, ensure high first-pass yield, drive EHS and continuous improvement, and work closely with cross-functional teams to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.

Our Multi-modal Manufacturing Facility (MMF) in Pune plays a crucial role in manufacturing key aerospace components, supporting not only India’s defense and commercial sectors but also global aviation supply chains. Our relationships with Indian suppliers, combined with our world-class local facilities and global reach, continue to shape India’s aerospace ecosystem.


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Perform Electrical controls cabinet assembly, wiring,electrical device installation and trouble shooting
  • Conduct Inspection and testing of cabinets and sub-assemblies as per engineering drawings, BOMs, and specifications
  • Plan and manage daily production in assembly, testing, and sub-assembly areas
  • Coordinate with warehouse for timely material supply
  • Ensure FPY of 95% and job quality in all operations
  • Maintain tools and machine health, support preventive maintenance with CFT
  • Raise and support EHS concerns and contribute to Kaizen (1/month)
  • Manage consumables and support cost reduction projects
  • Handle customer complaints related to supply and delivery, in coordination with relevant teams

Ideal Candidate:

A Junior Engineer with experience in supporting assembly, electrical control cabinet assembly, wiring, and inspection.


Required Qualification/Requirements:

  • First-class Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or Electrical Engineering
  • 2–4 years of experience in engineering industry
  • Hands-on experience in control cabinet assembly and wiring, preferably Static Starter
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, BOMs, and specifications
  • Strong manual dexterity, able to work on feet for extended periods
