Job Summary
The Treasury Digital Technology team is a pivotal function within GE Vernova, responsible for the architecture, deployment, and lifecycle management of the global treasury application portfolio. Our mission is to provide robust, scalable solutions that power the companys financial operations, including global payments, cash management, liquidity planning, investment monitoring, and risk exposure tracking.
As a Senior Technical Product Manager, you will serve as the primary configuration owner for our core Treasury pillar applicationsFIS Trax (Payment Hub)andFIS Quantum (Treasury Management System). You will lead the continuous optimization and configuration of our financial technology stack, drive system integrations, and ensure our platforms evolve to meet the needs of a dynamic global business.
Roles and Responsibilities - Drive Voice of Customer (VOC) initiatives: gather requirements, facilitate feedback loops, and fine-tune product features to align with business needs.
- Work with cross-functional teams to deliver features in Trax and Quantum
- Demonstrate ability to influence customers and product managers through persuasion and influencing.
- Manage the sprint backlog and short-term product roadmap to ensure consistent delivery of monthly releases.
- Engage frequently with the development team; facilitates discussions, provides clarification, story acceptance and refinement, testing and validation; contributes to design activities and decisions.
- Translate ambiguous business requirements into actionable user stories, technical specifications, and clear work units for development teams.
- Partner with Service Owners/ Development Managers to ensure healthy and harmonized development process across the different applications PODS.
- Apply Agile Methodology and Lean tools
- Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in technical product management, software development, or a treasury-related systems role.
- Strong knowledge of software design and coding principles
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Demonstrates knowledge on technical topics, such as APIs, data transfer, security, coding, databases.
- Demonstrates interest in learning business treasury function and processes
- Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems
- Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts
- Has the ability to analyze impact of technology choices
- Skilled in negotiation to align stakeholders and communicate a single synthesized perspective to the scrum team. Balances value propositions for competing stakeholders.
- Demonstrates knowledge of the competitive environment
- Influences through others; builds direct and behind the scenes support for ideas. Pre-emptively sees downstream consequences and effectively tailors influencing strategy to support a positive outcome.
- Able to verbalize what is behind decisions and downstream implications. Continuously reflecting on success and failures to improve performance and decision-making.
- Understands when change is needed. Participates in technical strategy planning.
- Able to effectively direct and mentor others in critical thinking skills. Proactively engages with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and design solutions using critical thinking and analysis skills and best practices. Finds important patterns in seemingly unrelated information.

- Innovates and integrates new processes and/or technology to significantly add value to GE Vernova. Identifies how the cost of change weighs against the benefits and advises accordingly. Proactively learns new solutions and processes to address seemingly unanswerable problems.
