Data Manager - Immediate Start

We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented, and motivated School Data Manager to join our dedicated team. This critical role supports school leadership by managing and analyzing school data to drive improved student outcomes. You will lead the development and implementation of data systems, support staff in using data effectively, and ensure our MIS is accurate, efficient, and compliant.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the management and development of the School's Management Information System (MIS).
• Ensure accurate and timely input, analysis, and reporting of student progress, assessments, attendance, and examination data.
• Provide high-quality, insightful data analysis and reporting to school leadership, staff, and external stakeholders.
• Line manages the Data Assistant/ Data Executives and support training for staff on MIS systems.
• Work closely with teaching and leadership teams to develop tracking systems and improve student outcomes.
• Maintain data security, ensure compliance with General Data Protection Regulation and school data policies.
• Coordinate with external providers for system updates, troubleshooting, and enhancements.
• Prepare and publish termly and annual school reports via the VLE/parent portal.
• Provide data for school improvement planning, target setting, and performance evaluation.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who brings a blend of technical expertise, data fluency, and educational insight, with a collaborative mindset.
Essential Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in a school or educational data management role.
• Strong knowledge of MIS systems (SIMS, iSAMS, or similar).
• Understanding of Students Admissions process, and internal & external assessments is a plus point.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and data management/analysis tools, Phoenix, SIMS, FFT Aspire, and Power BI.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities tasks and meet deadlines.
