Role Overview

• The Deputy Manager Power BI will lead Power BI reporting initiatives, drive enhancements, and ensure scalable, high-quality analytics solutions.
• This role involves higher stakeholder ownership, governance, and solution design responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead management of enterprise Power BI applications, dashboards, and reports
• Engage with senior business stakeholders to define and prioritize reporting needs
• Oversee performance optimization, data refresh strategies, and issue resolution
• Drive enhancements, automation, and best practices in Power BI development
• Manage user access, security roles, and governance frameworks
• Collaborate closely with data engineering and development teams
• Ensure data accuracy, availability, compliance, and audit readiness
• Guide junior team members and review deliverables

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 9-12 years of experience in BI / Analytics, with strong Power BI expertise
• Advanced knowledge of DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and Power BI Service
• Strong experience handling large-scale enterprise dashboards
• Mandatory experience in Property & Casualty Insurance reporting
• Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
• Advanced SQL and understanding of data warehousing concepts

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure data ecosystem (ADF, Synapse, SQL DB)
• Exposure to data governance, security, and compliance frameworks
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments
