About Getfive-

Getfive is a SEBI-registered Merchant Banking firm having offices in Mumbai and Ahmedabad. The firm specializes in IPOs and pre-IPO private equity fund-raising. Along with the Merchant banking arm, the firm also manages an AIF focused on late-stage companies.

About the Role-

We are looking for a Business & Partnership Lead to drive outreach, build lasting relationships with advisors and intermediaries, and convert these relationships into active business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Initiate outreach with prospects through personalized messaging that introduces the organization, highlights relevant capabilities, and opens the door for further conversation.
  2. Conduct introductory calls with prospects to understand their business, requirements, and explore areas of potential collaboration.
  3. Lead virtual meetings to discuss service offerings, business challenges, and active mandates, with the goal of identifying genuine partnership opportunities.
  4. Build and maintain long-term relationships with prospects and partners through regular follow-ups, market updates, and consistent engagement.

    Identify and evaluate actionable deal opportunities by assessing fundraising parameters, deal economics, and timelines.
  6. Maintain accurate records of interactions, meeting outcomes, and relationship status to ensure a well-managed and active pipeline.

Requirements

• Masters degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or a related field or CA or Semi-CA qualification

• 3-5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or relationship management, ideally within capital markets, investment banking, or financial advisory

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and represent the organization professionally

• Confident in leading calls and virtual meetings, with a relationship-first or consultative approach

• Strong follow-through and organizational skills to manage an active pipeline of relationships and opportunities

• Strong understanding of IPO processes, fundraising, and deal structures is a plus
