Chief Cloud Architect

As a Cloud Chief Architect at Getronics, you will play a crucial role in defining and driving the technical cloud strategy for the company and its key clients. You will lead complex architectural discussions with C-level executives and technical teams, translating business requirements into robust, scalable, and future-proof cloud solutions. Your primary focus will be on championing innovation, embedding best practices, and ensuring that solutions embody the principles of PREDICT, PREVENT, and PERFORM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and articulate the overarching cloud architectural vision and strategy for Getronics" offerings and client engagements.
• Develop and maintain multi-year cloud technology roadmaps aligned with industry trends and business objectives.
• Lead the evaluation and adoption of new cloud technologies to enhance Getronics" competitive edge.
• Act as the primary technical interface for strategic clients, leading high-level architectural discussions and workshops.
• Oversee the design of complex, large-scale, multi-cloud, and hybrid cloud solutions, ensuring security, scalability, resilience, and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with sales teams to develop compelling technical proposals and shape winning solutions during the sales cycle.
• Mentor and guide other cloud architects and senior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in cloud computing and identify opportunities to create differentiated value for Getronics and its clients.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 15+ years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in a Technical Architect role focusing on cloud technologies.
• Deep expertise in designing complex solutions on major cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
• Strong understanding of core cloud services, cloud-native architecture patterns, and DevOps principles.
• Professional certifications from AWS (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional) and/or Azure (e.g., Solutions Architect Expert).
• Experience with Kubernetes and enterprise integration patterns is desirable.
