Buy-Side Equity Research Analyst (AMC - India)
Role Summary: Support portfolio managers by generating investment ideas through fundamental equity research and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze companies (financial models, valuations, earnings tracking)
- Generate investment recommendations with clear thesis and risks
- Track sectors, macro trends, and regulatory updates (e.g., Securities and Exchange Board of India)
- Monitor portfolio stocks and suggest actions
- Interact with management, industry experts, and sell-side analysts
Requirements:
- MBA/CA/CFA (CFA Institute preferred)
- 2+ years in equity research
- Strong financial modeling & valuation skills
- Proficiency in Excel and data tools
Outcome: Deliver actionable insights contributing to portfolio performance and alpha generation.
