Revenue Accounting Manager

Location Details: Remote, India

This is a remote position, so youll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.

Were a high-impact, collaborative Order to Cash Revenue team that sits at the intersection of key teams within GoDaddy (Finance, Accounting, and Technology). Our mission is to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant revenue recognition while optimizing the end-to-end Order-to-Cash process to support GoDaddys global financial operations and enable informed business decisions. We support innovation by bridging the gap between technical capabilities and accounting requirements, enabling our teams to make data-driven decisions with confidence!

What youll get to do...

• Contribute to the month-end close through preparation and review of journal entries, customer invoicing, account reconciliations, and account analysis, while performing data validation to support documentation for audit purposes
• Maintain and improve internal controls and SOX documentation for accounting processes, ensuring compliance and data integrity through workflows
• Identify and recommend opportunities to reduce manual efforts and optimize financial systems, while documenting key accounting processes, data flows, and reporting logic for cross-functional alignment
• Champion and implement automation initiatives to streamline processes, upskill the team, and ensure efficiency
• Partner with staff and leaders on cross-functional teams in Treasury, Legal, Engineering, Global Payments, etc.

Your experience should include...

• Bachelors degree in Accounting
• 5+ years of experience working with global, publicly traded companies
• Knowledge of ASC606 GAAP and revenue recognition principles
• Experience with ERP platforms (Workday Financials preferred) and data/reporting tools.
• Familiarity with SOX compliance and controls testing
• Proven proficiency in data analysis, including advanced skills in Excel

You might also have...

• CPA designation or progress toward CPA, or equivalent
• Prior experience supporting revenue recognition systems or complex billing platforms
• Exposure to data visualization tools (e.g., Quicksight, Power BI)
