Job Description
- Role Overview:
At Goldman Sachs, you will be part of the Engineering team responsible for providing engineering solutions in client reporting for the Prime Brokerage business. Your main responsibility will include developing and enhancing the strategic client reporting platform (GRP) to enable the generation and delivery of reports at a massive scale. This involves building and managing data pipelines using technologies like Java, Snowflake, Kafka, Hazelcast, and more. You will also be developing solutions, services, and flows for client report data transformation, report orchestration stages like report generation and delivery, and creating frontend interfaces for the product offerings using technologies like React, Redux, TypeScript, and Webpack.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering on a strategic platform that procures data from various upstream systems for transactional and reference information
- Building and managing data pipelines using technologies like Java, Snowflake, Kafka, Hazelcast, and others
- Developing solutions, services, and flows for client report data transformation and orchestration stages
- Leveraging cloud technologies like S3, Kubernetes, etc., to develop and manage client reporting flows
- Developing frontend interfaces for the product offerings using React, Redux, TypeScript, Webpack, and more
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelors degree or relevant work experience in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline
- 1+ years of software development experience, or an advanced degree
- Strong experience in Java, Python, C++ or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and designing for performance

- Comfortable multi-tasking, managing multiple stakeholders, and working as part of a global team
