What role will you play in the team? As an International Tax Analyst at Grant Thornton, you will be responsible for assisting clients with international tax compliance and planning. Your role involves researching international tax laws, preparing tax forms, and supporting senior team members in providing tax advice on cross-border transactions. You will contribute to global tax solutions.

What you will do You will research international tax laws and regulations. Prepare international tax forms and reports. Support senior team members in providing tax advice on cross-border transactions. Assist in the preparation of transfer pricing documentation and analysis.

Key responsibility

  • Research international tax laws and regulations, including treaties, to ensure compliance.
  • Prepare international tax forms and reports, such as Forms 5471, 5472, and 8858.
  • Support senior team members in providing tax advice on cross-border transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings.
  • Assist in the preparation of transfer pricing documentation and analysis to ensure compliance with transfer pricing regulations.
  • Participate in client meetings and communicate tax-related information effectively.
  • Maintain organized records of tax documents and correspondence.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient tax compliance processes.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in international tax laws and regulations through continuous learning.
  • Assist in tax audits by preparing supporting documentation and explanations.
  • Provide exceptional client service and maintain client confidentiality.

Required Qualification and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of international tax laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in tax preparation software such as OneSource or CorpTax.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • CPA certification or candidacy is a plus.
