IT Helpdesk (L2)

IT Helpdesk Associate supporting internal technology operations and providing first-level technical assistance to employees across Grassi India offices. The role focuses on troubleshooting, user support, system maintenance, IT asset management, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.ResponsibilitiesProvide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issuesTroubleshoot desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral device issuesAssist employees with Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, Teams, Azure, VPN, and access-related concernsSupport onboarding and offboarding including account creation, access management, and device setupMaintain IT asset inventory and system documentationCoordinate with vendors and senior IT team members for escalationsMonitor and respond to helpdesk tickets within defined SLAsAssist with software installations, updates, and patch managementEnsure IT security protocols and policies are followedTroubleshoot Wi-Fi and LAN connectivity issuesMaintain records of incidents, resolutions, and IT support activitiesProvide basic guidance and training to users on IT tools and best practicesRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field1–3 years of experience in IT Helpdesk, Technical Support, or Desktop SupportBasic knowledge of Windows operating systemsBasic understanding of networking conceptsHardware troubleshooting knowledgeFamiliarity with Microsoft Office 365 administration and ticketing systemsUnderstanding of user access management and IT support processesStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsGood verbal and written communication skillsAbility to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environmentCustomer-focused mindset with strong attention to detail
