Job Description
Prepare and verify all import-related documents accurately and within stipulated timelines.
Ensure all documentation complies with regulatory and company requirements.
Bill of Entry (BoE) Filing
- File Bills of Entry (BoE) accurately and on time through the SEZ portal.
- Ensure error-free processing and compliance with applicable import regulations.
Customs Clearance
- Coordinate with Customs authorities, CHA, freight forwarders, and shipping lines to ensure timely customs clearance of import shipments.
- Monitor shipment movement and ensure prompt in-house receipt of cleared cargo.
SEZ Compliance
- Liaise with SEZ authorities to ensure compliance with all SEZ regulations and procedures.
- Ensure adherence to prescribed “Out of Charge” timelines for import consignments.
MIS & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of import shipments, clearance status, and import-related costs.
- Prepare and share regular MIS reports to provide transparency and visibility of import operations.
Shipping Line Bond Management
- Ensure required shipping line bonds are arranged and available before vessel arrival.
- Coordinate with stakeholders for timely execution and renewal of bonds as required.
