HR Lead

We are looking for an experienced HR Lead who can seamlessly blend strategic HR thinking with operational excellence. You will be the people backbone of the organisation building culture, managing the full employee lifecycle, and partnering with leadership to drive a high-performance environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to develop and implement people strategy aligned with business growth
• Design, review, and enforce HR policies, employee handbooks, and compliance frameworks
• Own end-to-end payroll management ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely processing
• Manage the complete employee lifecycle: onboarding, performance management, promotions, and exits
• Drive talent acquisition strategy in collaboration with hiring managers
• Lead employee engagement, culture-building, and retention initiatives
• Handle HR operations including HRIS management, documentation, and reporting
• Manage statutory compliance PF, ESI, Gratuity, and labour law adherence
• Lead organisational development (OD) initiatives capability building, L&D programmes, and succession planning
• Act as a trusted advisor to employees and management on all HR-related matters

• 58 years of HR experience across both strategic and operational functions
• Proven expertise in payroll processing and statutory compliance
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices in India
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement HR policies from scratch
• Experience working in a fast-growing startup or product technology company preferred
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
• MBA in HR or a postgraduate qualification in Human Resources preferred
• Proficiency with HRIS tools such as Darwinbox, Keka, Zoho People, or similar
