Job Description
- As a member of the Insights team at Guidepoint's Institutional investment and corporate clients, your role will involve working closely with the Global Healthcare Insights team based in India. Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring a coverage universe of public and private companies within the Medtech, Lifesciences tools, and Healthcare Services sector.
- Tracking key industry trends, material news flows, earnings releases, investor presentations, and research in key coverage markets.
- Identifying and maintaining a robust pipeline of company and industry-specific topics, generating original ideas for discussion.
- Creating and moderating teleconferences featuring experts from Guidepoint's network to produce actionable insights for clients.
- Reviewing teleconference transcripts to ensure the quality of content and summarizing key discussion points.
In addition, you will be expected to:
- Ensure Guidepoint compliance policies and protocols are adhered to.
- Exhibit ownership for the call by vetting experts" relevance to Insights Teleconferences and ensuring their profiles" accuracy.
- Work with research teams to identify and recruit additional industry experts to our Expert Network.
- Manage and further develop relationships with both experts and clients.
Qualifications required for this role include:
- PhD or Masters degree in STEM or Life Sciences (Advanced Degrees preferred or equivalent experience).
- 1-2 years of preferred work experience at a financial services, consulting, or research firm with a focus on EMEA Medtech, Lifesciences tools, and Healthcare Services.
- Understanding of the institutional buy-side/sell-side research and investing workflows.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment with effective time management and organizational skills.
- Outgoing personality with the ability to communicate with people at all professional levels.
- Intellectual curiosity, desire to learn, and demonstrated ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
