Job Description
- As a member of the Insights team at Guidepoint, you will play a crucial role in providing valuable insights to institutional investment and corporate clients through teleconferences, surveys, and in-person events. The content you create and moderate will cover a wide range of industries and topics, allowing clients to make informed decisions based on experts from Guidepoint's global network. Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring a coverage universe of public and private companies within a specific sector in the EMEA region, across multiple asset classes and structures.
- Tracking key industry trends, news flows, earnings releases, and research in key markets.
- Identifying and maintaining a pipeline of company and industry-specific topics, generating original ideas for discussions.
- Creating and moderating teleconferences featuring experts from Guidepoint's network to produce actionable insights for clients.
- Reviewing teleconference transcripts to ensure quality content and summarizing key discussion points.
In addition to content creation and research coverage, you will also be involved in process management tasks, such as ensuring compliance policies are followed, vetting experts for relevance, and managing relationships with experts and clients.
To excel in this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree.
- 4+ years of experience at a financial services or research firm, preferably with a focus on consumer/fintech/technology/healthcare services sectors.
- Understanding of institutional buy-side/sell-side research and investing workflows.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, effective time management, and organizational skills.

- Intellectual curiosity, desire to learn, and willingness to train and mentor junior professionals.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal, with knowledge of additional regional languages being a plus.
