AWS DevOps Engineer

• Assisting in the design, implementation, and maintenance of DevOps processes and infrastructure.
• Collaborating with development and operations teams to automate build, deployment, and release processes.
• Configuring and managing continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting infrastructure and application issues to ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Implementing and maintaining configuration management tools for infrastructure and software deployments.
• Contributing to the improvement of system monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions for performance optimization and security enhancements.
• Staying updated with industry trends and emerging technologies related to DevOps practices.

Qualifications required for this role:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
• Working experience for an AWS partner company that delivered managed services is a must.
• 4+ years of experience in AWS, Azure, DevOps, cloud-based infrastructure, and basic networking concepts.
• Knowledge of code merging strategy, branching strategy, ADO, and CI/CD.
