Job Summary

Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance payment processing applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and release activities.
• Provide production support for business-critical payment applications and ensure high system availability.
• Troubleshoot and debug application, deployment, and infrastructure issues by analyzing application logs, server logs, and monitoring dashboards.
• Monitor production alerts and proactively resolve incidents to minimize customer impact.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for production issues and implement preventive solutions.
• Write and maintain JUnit test cases to ensure code quality, reliability, and regression coverage.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, implementation details, deployment guides, and operational runbooks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, Product Owners, and external payment service providers.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices.

Required Technical Skills

• Java, Spring Boot, Microservices
• REST API development and integration
• SQL Server / Relational Databases
• JUnit and unit testing frameworks
• Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD Pipelines, GCP
• OpenShift (OCP4) / Kubernetes deployments
• Application log analysis and debugging
• Monitoring tools such as Grafana, Dynatrace and Argo CD
• Production incident management and support
• Technical documentation and knowledge sharing

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or International equivalent
