Product Design Manager

The Role-

Healthify is looking for an experienced and visionary Design Manager to lead our Product Design function in an AI-first organization. This is a player-coach role where youll define the design vision, lead and mentor a high-performing team, and leverage AI to accelerate design quality, experimentation, and innovation. Youll shape intuitive, delightful, and intelligent product experiences while embedding AI across the design lifecycle-from research and ideation to prototyping, validation, and execution. Youll work closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, AI, and Marketing teams to create experiences that feel deeply personalized and effortless for our users.

AI-First Design-

• Champion an AI-first design culture by integrating AI tools and workflows across research, ideation, prototyping, content generation, and design operations.
• Identify opportunities where AI can meaningfully improve user experiences and simplify complex health journeys.
• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and AI teams to design intelligent, personalized product experiences powered by machine learning and generative AI.
• Stay ahead of emerging AI design trends, frameworks, and technologies, translating them into practical applications within Healthify.

Team Leadership & Management-

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of product designers, fostering a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning.
• Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development planning.
• Optimize resource allocation across initiatives while improving design velocity through AI-enabled workflows.
• Build a high-performing team that embraces both design excellence and AI-driven productivity.

• Define and execute the design vision for key product areas aligned with business strategy and user outcomes.
• Drive the end-to-end design process from discovery through launch, ensuring user-centered, data-informed, and scalable solutions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, AI, Data Science, and Marketing to balance user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.
• Promote rapid experimentation through AI-assisted prototyping and iterative validation.

User Research & Insights

• Lead qualitative and quantitative user research to uncover user needs and behavioral insights.
• Leverage AI-powered research tools to accelerate synthesis, identify patterns, and generate actionable recommendations.
• Use customer feedback, analytics, experimentation, and usability studies to inform design decisions.
• Advocate relentlessly for users while balancing data, business priorities, and emerging AI capabilities.

Design Systems & Quality

• Own and evolve Healthifys design system to ensure consistency, accessibility, scalability, and speed.
• Explore AI-assisted design system management, component generation, documentation, and governance.
• Establish high standards for visual design, interaction design, accessibility, and product craftsmanship.
• Drive operational excellence by introducing AI-enabled processes that improve efficiency without compromising quality.

Experience

• 5+ years of Product Design (UX/UI) experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating impactful consumer product design.
• Minimum 3 years designing consumer mobile applications (iOS and Android).
• 2+ years leading, mentoring, and scaling high-performing design teams.
• Proven experience defining design strategy and delivering products in agile, fast-paced environments.
• Demonstrated experience incorporating AI into design workflows or building AI-powered product experiences.

Skills & Attributes

• Strong understanding of AI-assisted design methodologies and modern design workflows.
• Deep expertise in user-centered design, interaction design, visual design, accessibility, and usability best practices.
• Strong product thinking with the ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
• Exceptional communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with Figma and modern AI-powered design, research, and prototyping tools.
• Experience designing across mobile and web platforms.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience leveraging experimentation, user analytics, and A/B testing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing AI-native or AI-enabled consumer products.
• Experience in health, wellness, fitness, or digital healthcare.
• Familiarity with conversational interfaces, personalization systems, recommendation engines, or LLM-powered experiences.
• Passion for emerging AI technologies and continuous learning in the evolving design landscape.
