A purpose driven role for you

• Improve the quality of Supplier parts
• Ensuring quality of the manufacturing processes at suppliers to improve process reliability through Audits, QAVs
• Review supplier design engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and quality documentation, which may include 8Ds, for compliance to Continental and customer requirements
• Develop EV Powertrain & Drive System at supplier end and ensure vehicle integrations by
• Ensuring quality of new parts developed at suppliers through Audits, QAVs
• Ensure/Improve performance of new product Testing and Validation COP
• Ensure Conformity to Production through robust testing mechanisms
• Supplier Evaluations/QAV L1
• Confirmation of Supplier process / Quality System i.e. PPAP, APQP & QC Tool etc.
• TFC Confirmation / action on all current issues - problem Tracking.
• Study of new designs and CTQ identification and ensure cascading @ supplier.
• Ensure DFM/DFA/DFS addressed
• Drive DFMEA practice
• Ensure CFT participation.
• CTQ identification and cascading
• Base Model@G4 / After Market MP /GB issues Resolution
• Gate tracking, Event trials, Dwg. Study.
• Alignment & senior review (MQ/GB/GPP/PL)
  

A Day in the life

• Alignment with multiple stakeholders across the functions (CIT, Mfg, Quality, overall CFT )
• Quality (along with cost) while choosing supplier First time right Approach with SS/VD as well as Proto machining route aligned with MP established Processes.
• DFMEA discussion on New Technological Parts- No Past Failure data / experience including Proprietary parts.
• Be able to frequently travel locally and internationally. In some cases, with a short notice
• Country specific statutory, regulatory and customer requirements of quality parameters.
  

Academic Qualification & Experience
Technical Skills/Knowledge

• 2-wheeler electrical sub-systems- LV & HV system
• Knowledge of Li-ion cell chemistry and the various processes involved in manufacturing lithium ion battery packs.
• New Product Development
• Problem Solving and Defect analysis
• Project planning/ Project Management Skills
• GD&T, PPAP, APQP, DFMEA, QC tools
• Drawing Study
• Auditing
