Corporate Affairs Specialist

We are looking for a dynamic professional to join our Corporate Affairs team and play a key role in strengthening our engagement with government bodies, industry associations, and key external stakeholders. This role will help shape advocacy initiatives, monitor the evolving policy landscape, build strategic partnerships, and support initiatives that enhance the organizations reputation and influence.

What Youll Do

• Support the development and execution of Corporate Affairs and Government Relations strategies aligned with business priorities.
• Build and nurture relationships with government departments, regulatory authorities, industry bodies, and strategic external stakeholders.
• Monitor emerging policies, regulations, and legislative developments, assess their business impact, and recommend appropriate actions.
• Coordinate government interactions, industry representations, and advocacy initiatives while preparing organizational viewpoints on key policy matters.
• Provide strategic communication inputs and advisory support on initiatives that may influence the organizations reputation or stakeholder perception.
• Partner with internal teams to ensure consistent communication and alignment on public policy and regulatory matters.
• 
  Contribute to crisis communication planning and support the execution of reputation management initiatives.
• Work closely with the Public Relations function to develop position papers, thought leadership content, and external communication that reinforces the organizations corporate image.
• Maintain policy trackers, legislative dashboards, and risk registers to enable proactive decision-making.

What Were Looking For

• 17+ years of experience in Government Affairs, Corporate Affairs, Public Policy, Regulatory Affairs, or External Relations
• Post graduate, preferably Masters with specialization in Govt. Relations & Public Advocacy
• Strong understanding of the government and regulatory ecosystem.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to analyze policy developments and translate them into business insights and actionable recommendations.
• Strong coordination, project management, and influencing capabilities.
• Experience working with industry associations or government agencies will be an added advantage.
• Experience in manufacturing, automotive, industrial, infrastructure, energy, or other highly regulated sectors will be an advantage
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at the highest levels.
• Strong executive presence with outstanding interpersonal and networking capabilities.
• Critical thinking and strategic problem-solving skills.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and manage complex stakeholder environments.
• High levels of business acumen, collaboration, and sound judgment.
