• Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS R12.2 Finance Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in implementing and supporting Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12.2 Finance modules, particularly in the manufacturing sector. This role involves working closely with finance and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration of financial processes within Oracle EBS.

• Key Responsibilities:
• 1. Functional Expertise in Finance Modules
• Provide in-depth expertise in Oracle R12.2 Financial modules, including:
• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Fixed Assets (FA)
• Cash Management (CM)
• Cost Management (CST) (specific to manufacturing)
• 2. Requirements Gathering & Business Analysis
• Collaborate with finance and manufacturing stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Translate business needs into Oracle EBS functional specifications.
• 3. System Configuration & Implementation
• Configure Oracle R12.2 Finance Modules to align with business needs.
• Set up chart of accounts, accounting periods, journal sources, and subledger accounting (SLA).
• Ensure accurate financial transactions and reconciliations between manufacturing and finance modules.
• 4. Financial Reporting & Compliance
• Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and accounting standards.
• Assist in designing and generating financial reports (Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and Cash Flow Statements).
• 5. Month-End & Year-End Closures
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Reconcile financial transactions between manufacturing and finance systems to ensure accuracy.
• 6. Testing & Validation
• Oversee testing of Oracle EBS configurations and custom solutions.
• Perform functional validation and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with finance teams.
• 7. Training & Documentation
• Conduct training sessions for end-users on financial processes, reporting, and Oracle workflows.
• Develop and maintain documentation for configurations, best practices, and troubleshooting guides.
• 8. Ongoing Support & Troubleshooting
• Provide post-implementation support and resolve financial module issues.
• Troubleshoot errors in financial transactions, reporting, and closing processes.
• 9. Process Improvement & Automation
• Identify process optimization opportunities to improve financial workflows.
• Recommend automation solutions for repetitive financial tasks.
• 10. Upgrades & Enhancements
• Support Oracle R12.2 upgrades, patches, and new feature implementations.
• Ensure minimal disruption to financial operations during upgrades.
• Skills & Qualifications:
• 12-15 years of experience working as an Oracle EBS R12.2 Finance Functional Consultant.
• Strong expertise in Oracle Financial Modules: GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, CST.
• Manufacturing sector experience is highly preferred.
• Experience in Subledger Accounting (SLA) and Cost Accounting in Manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience in configuring and troubleshooting Oracle R12.2 Finance Modules.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles, and compliance standards.
• Experience with SQL for data extraction and reporting (preferred).
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
