ROLE CONTEXT

The Personal Care portfolio — spanning Shampoo, Oral Care, Soap and General Purpose skincare — is a core, fast-growing engine across many of our geographies. We hold strong, competitive positions across key segments, with ample headroom to grow further. Expansion plans span the GCC and other key METAP markets, making Personal Care a strong pillar in spearheading Himalaya to profitable growth.The ideal candidate has managed a significant P&L, led NPD from brief to shelf, and executed campaigns across digital channels and through influencers. Experience in a multi-market or regional role is a strong advantage. A strategic thinker who is equally comfortable in the detail, this is someone who can own a category, develop a brand plan and deliver commercial results.

ROLE PURPOSE

To operate as a business owner of the assigned categories. Take charge of all processes and activities in building and strengthening the brand and driving profitable growth of business in the METAP market

Role Responsibilities

• Build effective Category strategies for different markets in line with overall marketing strategy of the company
• Regularly interact with the sales team and suppliers and influence them to ensure timely implementation of all in-market brand plans
• Align Media Planning, Trade & Market Research and other marketing processes in line with category and brand strategies
• Develop high degree of consumer understanding and work with the creative / digital agency for an integrated communication plan
• Report generation, Analysing & providing the relevant data to facilitate decisions that ensure profitable growth
• Liaising with Formulation & Packaging for New product and packaging developments
• Regularly interact with Logistics department to ensure a healthy supply chain

• MBA from a reputed institute
• Minimum 10 years of core marketing experience working with reputed FMCG company
• Experience in personal care products mandatory. Exposure to MENA will be an added advantage.
• Strong exposure to Brand Management, New Product Launches, Media Planning and Market Research
