Brand Manager

ROLE CONTEXT

The Baby Care portfolio, spanning baby toiletries and wipes, is a core, fast-growing engine across many of our markets. We hold competitive positions in key segments, with significant headroom still to capture. With expansion planned across the GCC and other priority METAP markets, Baby Care is a central pillar of Himalaya's drive to profitable growth.

The ideal candidate has owned a significant P&L, taken NPD from brief to shelf, and run campaigns across digital and influencer channels. Multi-market or regional experience is a strong advantage. A strategic thinker who is equally comfortable in the detail, this is someone who can own a category, build the brand plan and deliver the commercial result.

ROLE PURPOSE

To operate as a business and consumer owner of the assigned categories. Take charge of all processes and activities in building and strengthening the brand and driving profitable growth of business in the METAP market

Role Responsibilities

• Build effective Category strategies for different markets in line with overall marketing strategy of the company
• Regularly interact with the sales team and suppliers and influence them to ensure timely implementation of all in-market brand plans
• Align Media Planning, Trade & Market Research and other marketing processes in line with category and brand strategies
• Develop high degree of consumer understanding and work with the creative / digital agency for an integrated communication plan
• Report generation, Analysing & providing the relevant data to facilitate decisions that ensure profitable growth
• Liaising with Formulation & Packaging for New product and packaging developments
• Regularly interact with Logistics department to ensure a healthy supply chain

• MBA from a reputed institute
• Minimum 6 years of core marketing experience working with reputed FMCG company
• Experience in personal care products mandatory. Exposure to MENA will be an added advantage.
• Strong exposure to Brand Management, New Product Launches, Media Planning and Market Research
