We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join the role of Documentation Associate-Global trade solutions (GTS).

Principal Responsibilities
- Review and process both domestic and cross-border transactions, ensuring all activity remains within delegated Limits of Authority and is fully compliant with internal policies and procedures
- Ensure adherence to AML, Sanctions, Financial Crime Risk, and other applicable internal control requirements.
- Maintain a sound understanding of the Indian regulatory framework, including RBI, FEMA guidelines.
- Monitor operational risks and ensure appropriate identification, assessment, mitigation, and control measures are implemented.
- Ensure compliance with HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit recommendations
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, operational efficiency, and enhanced customer service.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting and escalation of operational issues to relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate with relevant internal stakeholders to obtain necessary approvals prior.
- Proficiency in trade related software and Ms office Suite.
Role requirements / Educational Qualifications / Certification / Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 4–5 years of relevant experience in banking operations or trade finance
- Sound knowledge of local and cross-border related operational processes.
- Good understanding of RBI, FEMA, ACU guidelines.
- Knowledge of AML, Sanctions, Financial Crime Risk, and internal control frameworks.
- Strong analytical, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders and deliver within stringent timelines.
- Strong Knowledge of Trade Finance Products and Services, Including Letters Of Credit, Trade Loans, And Export/Import Documentation
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
Pro Tip: Familiarity with AI-enabled tools is an advantage.
