Assistant Manager/Manager - Fund Raising - Real Estate AIF

• Role Summary

The Fundraising Manager is responsible for end-to-end investor engagement, from initial pitching to successful capital commitment, for our Debt focussed SEBI-registered Category II Real Estate AIF and DIFC, Dubai registered Equity AIF. The role involves expanding the investor base, mainly via our own proprietorship Databases and Relationships and ensuring smooth investor onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

• Fundraising & Capital Raising: Drive capital inflows for real estate funds from UHNIs, HNI's, Professionals and corporate investors in our client's NCD's and our AIF's (India and Dubai ones)
• Investor Relations & Sales Cycle: Manage the entire Life Cycle of Private Equity/Real Estate investments: pitching, negotiation, and closing under the guidance of management.
• Networking & Distribution Channel: Build and leverage relationships with IFAs (Independent Financial Advisors), wealth managers, and private banks to activate distribution channels under the guidance of management.
• Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all fundraising activities adhere strictly to SEBI (Alternative Investment Funds) Regulations, 2012.
• Internal Coordination: Work with legal, compliance, and investment teams to facilitate onboarding and capital calls.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Finance Graduate (BCom, BBA, BFA, etc), Post Graduate (Finance/Real Estate/Marketing), CFA, CA, or equivalent advanced degree.
• Experience: 0-2 years of experience in Client facing roles (Front office). Candidates from Non Real Estate Client facing roles (UHNIs) are also welcomed to make career in Fundraising for SEBI & DIFC complaint Funds.
• Track Record: Proven ability to raise capital and manage relationships with UHNI/Corporate Professionals for highly customised and proven track record Products/Services.
• Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of Indian real estate markets, AIF structures, and tax implications (e.g., Section 115UB).
• Certification: NISM Series-XIX-C: Alternative Investment Fund Managers certification is highly preferred or mandatory.

• Strong negotiation skills and ability to onboard UHNI investors.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong network in the UHNI/Institutional space.
