Role Overview: The Senior Cloud Engineer will be responsible for managing and enhancing the organization's cloud and virtualization infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, performance, and scalability. The role involves implementing cloud and VMware solutions, troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues, driving automation initiatives, supporting disaster recovery readiness, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver resilient and secure technology platforms.

• Key Responsibilities:
• ·        Lead the design, implementation, and administration of enterprise virtualization platforms.
• ·        Manage VMware, vSphere, ESXi Hosts, vMotion, vCenter, VCF, NSX, DRS, HA and XenServer environments.
• ·        Ensure high availability, capacity planning, performance optimization, and lifecycle management of virtualization infrastructure.
• ·        Develop and maintain virtualization standards, architecture, and operational procedures.
• ·        Perform infrastructure assessments, compatibility validation, and upgrade planning.
• ·        Manage VMware Aria Operations (vROps), Lifecycle Manager, and SDDC Manager.
• ·        Design and manage NSX-T environments.
• ·        Implement micro-segmentation and network security policies.
• ·        Troubleshoot overlay networking, routing, switching, and distributed firewall issues.
• ·        Integrate NSX with physical network and security infrastructure.
• ·        Provide L3/L4 support for critical virtualization incidents and problem management.

·        Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for infrastructure issues as well as maintain SLA and operational excellence for critical production environments.

• ·        Ensure adherence to ITIL processes, including incident, problem, change, and capacity management.
• ·        Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal security policies.
• ·        Manage vulnerability remediation and audit observations.
• ·        Support RBI, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, and other compliance audits.
• ·        Knowledge on Hitachi, NetApp, Dell EMC, Linux and Windows Administration, Ansible and Python.
• ·        Design and manage DR solutions for virtual infrastructure.
• ·        Conduct DR drills and validate recovery procedures.

·        Implement virtualization security hardening based on industry standards and audit requirements as well as ensure business continuity requirements are met.

·        Lead and mentor virtualization engineers as well as manage vendor relationships and support escalations.

·        Key Deliverables - 99.9%+ virtual infrastructure availability, successful VCF and NSX lifecycle management, strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, team leadership and people management experience.
